Low-Altitude Training Navigation (LATN) |
||
This may be good news from the Peaceful Skies Coalition Happy Anniversary - Celebrating a year of keeping our skies peaceful! As a result of your work, Cannon withdrew their Environmental Assessment, and their FONSI (Finding of No Significant Impact). The air force is now reconsidering their options. In the meantime, Cannon has stated that they found "excess capacity from other bases" for training. September 20, 2012 Peaceful Skies Coalition News & Calendar Monday, January 9, 2012 12:25 PM |

The people of New Mexico and Colorado have spoken - loudly and clearly - NO to the proposed low altitude flights. While we don't know the final number yet, we do know that before the deadline on last Saturday, more than 1000 comments had already been submitted at the various forums held by Cannon as well as by mail, fax and email. |
